The synthetic flow monitor (Pro, monitor.synthetic) runs a scripted flow in a real browser (Playwright) from a node. It suits multi-step journeys like login, cart and checkout.
Building a flow
You add steps in order. The first step must be a goto to an https address. Each step can have a label so the flow is easy to read.
Step types
- goto – navigates to a URL (first step, https).
- click – clicks a CSS selector.
- fill – fills a field (selector + value).
- expect_text – text that must appear on the page.
- expect_selector – a selector that must appear.
- wait – waits a number of milliseconds.
JavaScript and console errors
During the run the monitor also captures JavaScript and console errors. These raise a soft warning – they do not page, but they help you spot problems in the flow.
No false alarms
A failed check is confirmed from a second location before it alarms.
